Community contribution
Canon Optron believes in building the future with chemistry and materials. We fulfill our social responsibilities through activities that benefit the community.
Exhibited at the Yuki City Festival
Canon Optron actively participated in community contribution efforts by being a sponsor of and exhibiting in the Yuki City Festival held in autumn.
Camera Lens Making Workshop
A summer vacation camera lens class was held at Ishijima Kensetsu Planet Hall Yuki Library. We also held classes on the mechanism of light and camera lens fabrication at elementary schools in the city.
Neighborhood beautification
We conduct cleanups in the neighborhood around our office, which beautifies the environment of Yuki City and promotes kyosei with the local community.
Interactions with nearby nursery schools
The goats that help control the weeds on our premises can soothe the spirit. We organized a “meet the goats” event and invited the children from the nearby nursery schools so that they could have some interaction with animals.

Sandbox donation
In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Canon Optron’s relocation to Yuki City, we constructed a sandbox in the park next to our office building and donated it to the city.
Cooperation with the Food Drive
We are conducting the Food Drive, an initiative in which unused and unopened food items are collected from employees and donated to Yūki City. The donated food will be distributed, through Yūki City, to individuals in need of support and will contribute to improving the welfare of the local community.
