Fluorine-free water repellent coating (In Development)

We offer a lineup of fluorine-free coating material development products designed to address PFAS regulations.
We continue to develop materials with properties tailored to meet various performance requirements.

Characteristics

Name Characteristics
In Development
Dev-01Series
A development product with high scratch resistance, water repellency, oil repellency, and slip properties.
Heating is requiredto achieve solvent resistance.
In Development
Dev-02Series
An upgraded version of the existing product (OR-510).
Excellent durability, maintainsinitial performance, and is curable atroom temperature(no heating required).
In Development
Dev-03Series
A development productoptimized for scratch resistance.
Heating is required to achive solvent resistance, and oil repellency is limited.
Existing Product
OR-510
An existing fluorine-free (PFAS-free) coating that provides water repellency, oil repellency, slip properties, and solvent resistance.

The official name will be decided once mass production is confirmed.

Substrates : φ30mm Borosilicate Glass (BK-7 Glass)
• This is a reference value when film is deposited on a BK7 glass substrate and does not guarantee performance.
• The dynamic friction coefficient was determined by using nonwoven fabric (Clint paper) as the contact element.
• The refractive index is a fitted value obtained using an ellipsometer.
• ※ For Dev-01-001 and Dev-03-002, solvent resistance is obtained by heat treatment after film deposition.
