What is LUMILEAD?
LUMILEAD is a coined word created from LUMINOUS and LEAD.
It is a brand name for our new evaporation material that will be a leading role player in the optical industry.
- Antistatic performance (prevention of dust adhesion)
- Antistatic effect will ben incorporated by simply using LUMILEAD TNO instead of Common titanium oxide materials in the multilayer coating.

Comparison of the adhesion of steel wool on AR Coat
(between a multilayer coating of Common titanium oxide materials/SiO2 and a multilayer coating of LUMILEAD TNO/SiO2)
|Measurement conditions for steel wool adhesion testing|
|Testing method||For each of AR Coat 1 (using Common titanium oxide materials) and AR Coat 2 (using LUMILEAD TNO), the surface was abraded with cotton for 10 seconds, then the degree of the steel wool adhesion was examined.|
|Steel wool used||#0000|
AR Coat 1
(Common titanium oxide materials)
High adhesion of steel wool due to static electricity was observed.
AR Coat 2
No adhesion of steel wool due to static electricity was found.
