Q1. Do you sell fluorite crystals to companies other than Canon?: Yes.
We undertake the production process from producing the crystals, to processing them, all the way to grinding and polishing them. There are many uses for fluorite lenses, and we sell them to many companies. Feel free to approach us for any enquiries.

Q2. Do you do direct sales to individual customers?: Sorry, we do not do transactions with individual customers. We can, however, direct you to trading companies or agents that do. Feel free to enquire.

Q3. Is there any limit to the size or shape of the film that coats the substrate?: As the deposition is done within vacuum apparatus, there is a limit to size, although the limit depends on the deposition method used. Special skills and technology may also be necessary depending on the shape of the substrate. If there is anything you are uncertain about, we can check your order details for you, so feel free to enquire.

Q4. Can I make a small order?: Yes. We accept any order size for crystallization materials and evaporation materials, from 1 unit all the way to bulk orders. Feel free to enquire.

Q5. What kind of substrate can the coating be done on?: Coating can be done on various materials, including glass, film, resin, or metal. However, suitability depends on the type of substrate and evaporation material, and some combinations may not be possible.
For example, if the substrate cannot be heated, we cannot use evaporation materials that require heat to be applied when using them to coat the substrate. In such cases, we will consider if the evaporation material can be replaced with something similar, or if the composition of the film can be changed.

Q6. What should I do if I have no coating equipment?: Canon Optron selects the evaporation material and carries out the processes that follow all the way to the creation of a prototype film according to our customers’ requirements. If you do not have coating equipment, we can also provide mass manufacturing support and other after-sales services. Do feel free to discuss.
